Grading

At Starkey Jewellery, where stones have been previously weighed or graded prior to being set, we will provide this information to our customers. We do not risk damage to our gems by removing them from their settings so for all other jewellery we will provide an assessment of the carat weight using a diamond gauge.

Sizing

Resizing

If you would like to purchase one of our rings but it is not the right size, please contact us via email and we can arrange for it to be resized. Please allow extra time (up to 10 days) for this service and an extra charge of £40.

How to measure your ring size

String

One way to measure your ring finger size is with a piece of string. Find a piece of string and wrap it around the chosen finger.

Pen

Make a mark on the string with a pen where the string begins to overlap once you have formed a circle.

Measure

Then measure from the end of the string up to the pen mark and refer to the sizing conversions below. We advise you take this measurement when your hands aren’t cold as this is when your finger size is at it’s smallest.
